Local Chapters
Local chapters are the heart of our organization. Each BWI ("bee-wee") chapter is led by a team of volunteer babywearing educators who are experienced with a wide variety of baby carriers. Chapters meet at least 10 times per year, and meetings are always free to attend and open to any interested caregiver. Support your local chapter and BWI by becoming a member!
BWI chapters also have extensive collections of baby carriers. These collections allow members and guests to learn about, try on, and compare different styles of carriers at meetings. Also, these collections serve as baby carrier "lending libraries." (You can learn more about your local chapter's lending library policy by visiting the chapter's page.)
Are you interested in starting a BWI chapter? We will post information soon about our exciting new chapter program!
